I did a lot of research and now I'm almost sure that he is trolling. A few people already thought this all was an april fools joke but he said it wasn't. I think we will see it tomorrow. I think instead of doing this on April 1st and then telling the truth later he instead chose to tell the truth on April 1st.

There is only on thing that is against my theory: Posting this and making it look like it was real could scare away new players. And if he really intends to continue then he does not want this. But then again: The new players probably don't read the forums and he mainly wanted to troll us older players. And it seems the moderators try to keep the forum quite clean so that they can be used later as if nobody happened.

Lots of things support my theory. Why would Old55 be looking for a formula about balance only a few days earlier? And they said that they maybe wanted to include this into the game and restrict the team joining in a running match with this. Why would the do this if they really wanted to quit? I don't think the decision came later and he then immediately posted in in the forums. Stony usually knows and prepares such things a long time. If he really wanted to quit he should have known this a few weeks earlier and Old55 would not have needed to look for a formula.

Then the LAN party. Stony is supposed to be at a LAN party at the moment. Maybe he really is and timed this well. But it also could be possible that he is sitting at the computer and laughing at us and just needed the LAN party as an excuse for not answering the forums. He can't answer. A few people asked why he doesn't just stop the patching but stays under NDA only to restart the masterserver if it crashed. I don't see a good answer here. And he really likes the games. I don't think he could answer this in a way that anybody would believe it.

Trololol. Banned from the match for building 3 shield towers that shielded nothing in the human main base. Maybe I'll reconnect my internet connection to get another IP(good that we have dynamic IP in Germany) and use another troll account. Seems to be fun. I'm going to do this more often now.
